SITE LEADER

Charlotte, North Carolina 

Full Job Description

This position is a part of the COVID-19 response team and may be responsible for testing and/or vaccine administration. Reporting to the territory coordinator for your specific site you will be responsible for the daily operations and management of staff at designated COVID-19 site.

Responsibilities

  •  30 minutes before the event starts, hold a small huddle with the entire staff, explain the patient flow, address any process changes, introduce new team members, and set the tone for a positive and successful event. Set-up and breakdown of assigned location
  • Based on your roster, assign a role to each team member.
  • Make sure you are aware of any new staff members scheduled at your event and reach out via a phone call to introduce yourself and set expectations. Be aware of new staff scheduled at your events and call them the day prior to their first shift to introduce yourself and open a line of communication.
  • All required PPE should be worn while on site and it is your job to make corrections as needed.
  • When a problem arises on site, keep a level head and solve the problem in a way that aligns with our goals and values
  • Work with Territory Coordinator:Report any staffing and supply needs to your Territory Coordinator. Work together to troubleshoot issues.
  • Complete training modules for all staffed positions on site and be ready to train new staff as needed.
  • Assist with registration, clinical duties, and traffic control as needed
  • You are responsible for all of the supplies that are dispersed to your site. Please make sure we are putting trusted team member in charge of using
  • Complete CDC training and apply the information when operating a site.
  • Report any onsite incidents to your Territory Coordinator and complete an Incident Report. An incident is any occurrence that involves a staff member or patient being injured in any way.
  • Double check all counts and ensure that the number of samples matches the number of Rec forms.
  • Complete event recap for submission

Vaccine Specific:

  • Report adverse reactions on VAERS website.
  • Have a good understanding of the vaccine cold chain process and ensure that vaccines maintain their integrity.
  • Complete all StarMed and CDC vaccine trainings
  • Complete all Admin paperwork 
  • Ensure that all patient forms are sent back to the Admin building

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs
  • Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions
  • Able to squat, kneel, and carry
