Full Job Description

StarMed Healthcare is looking for a dedicated Warehouse General Manager. In this hands-on role, you will direct the flow of work involved with receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of supplies in our 12,000 square foot warehouse facility.

Responsibilities

  • Site management of the daily operational warehouse and Logistics operations
  • Drive results and continuous improvement initiatives related to Safety, Quality, Costs and performance while ensuring compliance to corporate directives
  • Management of a team of direct reports comprised of operational leaders, Logistics manager and couriers
  • Responsible for orchestrating all activities related to ensuring the consistent flow of supplies to various facilities, deployments and events
  • Work with inhouse Finance Department to oversee operational budget and spending
  • Provide Weekly team Meetings and share input as it applies to organizational needs, order processing, and as assigned by the Leadership team.
  • Provide backup support to all phases of warehouse and logistics during periods of high personnel turnover or periods of leave/absence in addition to times of high volume supply movement or supply rapid response needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Rapid Response Director, Chief Compliance Officer and Leadership team
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team and other departments (i.e., Facilities Management, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing)
  • Collaborate with key internal functions such as Rapid Response to provide excellence in supply chain visibility, responsiveness, cost effectiveness and on-time-in-full delivery to all deployments and events
  • Responsible for leading Logistics transformation and continuous improvement projects, warehouse transitions and inventory moves, new systems implementations or enhancements impacting the Logistics area, process and policy changes, developing new tools and techniques
  • Accountable for coaching, training, developing and leading a highly capable and effective Logistics and Supply Team
  • Supervises, plans and reviews operations for assigned staff, including responsibility for training, managing and evaluating coordinating, scheduling and assigning work and maintaining facility’s standards
  • You will oversee the logistics team, warehousing activities, and shipping/receiving team and activities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
  • Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
  • Drivers License (Preferred)
