Dr. Arin Piramzadian | Chief Medical Officer

As a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician, Dr. Piramzadian has been in practice for over 10 years, and has led nearly 170 providers . Today he serves as the Chief Medical Officer assuring compliance with up to date medical and company guidelines, prompt and accurate charting and coding and monitoring quality of care provided. Being a teaching Doctor, he holds providers to the highest standard through regular training, mentoring and case studies.

Luz Estramonte | Director of Clinical Training

Luz Estramonte, the Director of Clinical Training, will train all incoming medical personnel using a program she helped create. She has been a registered nurse for more than 20 years and served as a charge nurse in a variety of settings. Luz has worked mainly in ICU (intensive care units) and step-down units.
She also has been assigned as a nurse preceptor on the telemetry and step-down units where she worked. Luz is certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. She was able to gain experience in medical surge and nursing homes during the COVID-19 pandemic. She attended Miami Dade College and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.

Olivia Shurter | Practice Manager

Olivia is StarMed’s Practice Manager, where she directs the organization’s FreeMore (West Charlotte) and Eastland (East Charlotte) clinics, along with the call center.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Sport Science at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C. Olivia then earned a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Human Performance at Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri. She was born and raised in Charlotte.
